Pizza Hangover!!!

Back in office after an extended weekend. Thanks to a public holiday on Thursday. The guys here have had their share of holidays and now can look forward to a grueling summer with no public holidays (read perks) for at least the next 3-4 months. I made good use of the weekend which culminated with a trip to pizza hut with a couple of my friends. One thing I like about these fast food joints is that you are served by beautiful Filipino ladies who always smile and act friendly even if they don’t want to. Once there, we ordered a mid sized pizza with half super supreme and half smoked turkey. My friend being an anti – turkey/ anti – chicken guy didn’t even touch the smoked turkey. So in the end, I had to finish the complete thing. Together with the large coke ( I had a refill too ) and then the large salad made me full to the brim.
Now in office, I have this feeling of a hangover …. God knows if anyone has got that after having a pizza!!!

How does my website look?

I am new to wordpress and have been going through the options in the last 2 days. Although, I have used other blogging sites like blogger but this one seems to do what it tells. It has a lot of options and is surprisingly very simple to administer keeping in mind the facilities it offers.

After going through a lot of templates on offer ( and keeping in mind the time constraint), I selected this one as it was very simple and pleasing to the eye. Nothing flashy… Just plain text and a little widgets here and there for easy management.

Any suggestions on a better template are always welcome.

Now I’ll get back to work.. Thought of posting this during the 5 minutes break I took..

Cross Landing…in Germany!!

I always pass by the airport on my way to office. There is something about planes that fascinated me and I always wished I became a pilot. I thought I could have become a good one. A recent incident changed my perception and I realized that a pilot required more than just a smart brain. It requires a strong heart to believe in yourself to come out of any situation. Something which I would have found difficult to achieve.

Check out the video below. Hats off to the pilot who pulled through this one and landed the plane 10 minutes later on the same landing strip.
